We stayed at a lovely B&B on a quiet gated street in Milan that felt really peaceful and safe. The host was friendly, breakfast on the terrace was tasty, and the room was nicely kept. The metro is actually more like a 5 to 10-minute walk, not 3, but it wasn’t a big deal for us.
